Connecting Church and Home
Exploring the Bible at Home
The Bible is at the center of the Baobab Blast program at church, and Baobab Blast has a variety of engaging tools to help make the connection to the Bible at home, too. By providing suggestions for caring conversations and at-home devotions, kids and their families will be able to interact with the Bible in new ways long after the program has ended. Baobab Blast will help your community play, study, share, and serve together.
Baobab Blast Trading Cards
The Trading Cards provide opportunities for families to gather and review the daily Bible memory verse, learn fun facts about the daily critter, and play online games that reinforce each day’s theme, Bible story, and Bible memory verse. Kids love to share the cards with friends—a great way to strengthen friendships.
Baobab Blast Kids’ Bible Books
The Baobab Blast Kids’ Bible Books feature fun and engaging activities to reinforce faith at home. With Baobab Blast at Home there is a family activity for each day.
Baobab Blast Africa Jam Mission Project
Encourage families to support the Africa Jam Mission Project, which provides educational support, builds self-esteem, and communicates the gospel to kids in South Africa.
Baobab Blast Song CD
Reproducible Baobab Blast Song CDs bring what kids learn in VBS into the home.
Baobab Blast Adult and Youth Bible Study
This Bible study allows parents and teens to study the same Bible texts as the kids attending Vacation Bible School, either in their own small groups or at home with Baobab Blast Adult and Youth Bible Study.
Baobab Blast at Home
Love never fails, and God’s earth needs some love, too! As a family, choose ways to show love outdoors. Pick up trash, plant trees or shrubs, or join a community garden and grow vegetables for a local food pantry.
